Our Virtual Christmas Workshops offer exciting events and workshops for you to enjoy the festive season and help you get some holiday cheer.
Workshops are wonderful opportunities to build lasting memories!
Delivered by friendly and knowledgeable instructors, we will engage your children with fun, interactive and hands-on activities. Step-by-step guided activities and cool demonstrations turn screen time into a fun and meaningful experience that is sure to capture your child's attention.
Our Virtual Christmas Program will allow your children to spend quality time with an enthusiastic instructor learning while enhancing their language skills.

3-day Workshops
Santa's Workshop
Any Age
Join us for a jolly Christmas camp! Each lesson will have a different Christmas-related theme for children to get into the holiday festive spirit.
Sample Lessons
Day 1
Christmas-themed stories. Students will be asked to predict, use critical thinking and answer questions about Christmas-themed stories.
Day 2
We will be making and decorating a treat today! Get ready to make something yummy!
Day 3
In this class, we will learn to draw and/or paint a Christmas picture! Together we will complete a Christmas masterpiece for you to proudly hang on your fridge.
Christmas Carolling
Any Age
Learn some traditional children’s Christmas songs to sing for Christmas. At the end of this workshop, students will put together a small concert to present.
Cookies for Santa
Ages 7 and up
Baking during the holidays is a holiday must. In this 3-day workshop, students will be making four different holiday cookie recipes: Sugar Cookies, Gingerbread Cookies, Thumbprints.
The students will make the recipes with the teacher's instructions. The students are encouraged to post a picture to share their cookies with the teacher and other students.
Students will be given a list of the ingredients and tools that they will
need in order to make the recipes before the first class.
Please be advised of the following potential hazards: use of oven/stove and the risk of allergens. Parental guidance is encouraged.
Lego Christmas
Ages 8 and up
Assemble and disassemble different lego models, each with a winter or Christmas theme.
Arts & Crafts
Any Age
Looking for something festive to make with your child?
Nothing says Christmas more than turning simple household objects into our favourite Christmas characters or ornaments.
Three groups to ensure everyone can make something to be proud of.
Sample arts & crafts

Handprint Christmas trees and toilet paper roll characters
Ages 7 - 10:
Gingerbread stick houses and sock Christmas characters
Ages 11 - 14:
Salt dough characters and Santa in a chimney

Christmas Around the World
Students will go on a Christmas themed scavenger hunt to the seven continents! We will learn a Christmas tradition from each continent and search for continent specific holiday items! In our last lesson, make a Christmas dessert from one of the exotic places we visited.

Terms and Conditions:
By completing the registration form for a particular Christmas workshop or event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out by Language Links. $85 registration fee is not applicable for enrollment in Language Links' Christmas Workshops or Events. The fee for attending the Workshop will be as stated on the registration form for the relevant Workshop or Event. All payments for the Workshop and/or Event must be made in full at the time of completing the registration form and prior to the date of the activity. All workshops and events are held subject to sufficient registrations. Only a certain number of vacancies are available per workshop or program. The number is between 5 to 8 participants per workshop. Events have an unlimited number of participants allowed. Language Links reserves the right to amend the number of participants in a workshop or event without notice. The workshop only takes place if there are at least 5 participants. The workshop can not go through with fewer participants. In case there are less than 5 participants for a workshop, the student will have the option to transfer to another workshop and/or event of equal or lesser value. Language Links reserves the right to postpone or cancel said workshop.
All registrations for a workshop or event are non-refundable. There may be circumstances out of our control in which we need to postpone the activity or change the date & time of the workshop or event. If we do, Language Links will advise you as soon as possible. In case of illness of the program teacher, we will continue the program with another teacher or cancel the offered workshop or program. In the event of cancellation, the registration will be moved without charge to another date, or canceled and any program fees paid will be refunded.
Language Links records all workshops and events and reserves the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. You consent to us (or any other person attending the Workshop) photographing or filming you and any persons attending the Workshop with you. You may not photograph or video the Workshop without our prior consent. If a participant causes hindrance during a workshop, program and event, Language Links reserves the right to remove this person from the workshop and refuse for subsequent workshops, events, or lessons offered at Language LInks. The participant will not receive a refund.
